Welcome!
I’m glad you’re here. I am Dr. Alli Irving, a Licensed Psychologist, Health Service Provider. I am a virtual (telehealth) provider offering individual and relationship therapy to adults throughout both Georgia and North Carolina. I am also pleased to provide consultative, educational, and training services to both large and small groups. Further, I serve as a clinical supervisor for psychologists-in-training and licensed psychological associates.
Azalea Psychological was born out of a love for nature and its beauty as well as resilience. Azaleas are found throughout Georgia and North Carolina and are known to be hardy plants that bloom year after year in spite of harsh weather conditions, pests, and diseases. Their ability to withstand difficult environments can be used as inspiration and motivation to overcome life’s obstacles and emerge stronger on the other side. Azaleas also signify the start of spring with their vibrant, colorful bloom. To me, this symbolizes renewal and the hopefulness that comes along with new beginnings. I invite you to embrace change, let go of a past that may be holding you back, and work collaboratively with me to usher in new opportunities in this season of your life.
I welcome and value people of all identities to my practice. As a lifelong learner, I am personally and professionally committed to learning and unlearning, valuing diversity in all forms, and using my voice and my privilege for those who are unable/less able to do so. I strive to be affirming to all clients and respectful of identities that are different from my own, including race, ethnicity, culture, sexual/relational orientation, gender identity and expression, relationship status, size, ability status, and social class. You are truly welcome here.
Thank you for considering Azalea Psychological for your behavioral health and training/educational needs. I consider it a privilege to do this work and I look forward to getting to know you.
